Costa Rica Retreat

In 2019 I had the dream to create a retreat for Black women that centered our sensuality and with a one of a kind boudoir experience added. I created a retreat to Tulum, Mexico and it was sold out in a matter of months!  I remember it like it was yesterday, everyone going met at Cherry Blossom Intimates, our lingerie sponsor, to pick their lingerie outfits. The ladies were enjoying their mocktails while sharing the gifts from their swag bags when we got the news. The world was shutting down because of Covid-19. We were all heart broken. 

Since that time I have wanted to host a boudoir retreat, but it never seemed like the right time. In the interim I facilitated workshops in Jamaica and Mexico for other hosts, but I still wanted to facilitate my own boudoir retreat.  It was the right time in February 2023. I planned a beautiful retreat just for boudoir photographers to beautiful  Costa Rica.The last few years  had been a rough for us and I wanted to do something special to help us all connect, refresh our businesses and practice radical self care.

It was a beautiful and transformative retreat for all involved. The conversations we were able to have, the games we played, the beach steps away from our villa, the catamaran and the pictures we took.
